Selected this hotel for ease of access to Singapore Flyer for New Year's Eve. In a business area this meant surroundings dead over the holiday period but that was our choice. The hotel itself was very good

Have stayed here twice now and have had excellent experiences both times, so will definitely be back

Such a wonderful place to stay. Centrally located and an easy walk to Marina Bay and all the associated attractions, plus multiple MRT stations within easy walking distance as well (Shenton Way and Tanjong Pagar within about 5 minutes). Staff are incredibly helpful at every point of contact - check in/out, ordering room service, cleaning staff, etc. Rooms are beautifully appointed and large. Dining options are amazing and well priced (for Singapore). Pool has a beautiful view of the water and is usually pretty quiet, and gym is well appointed, although slightly small, but again relatively quiet so it's not too much of a problem.

Wonderful

The breakfast was good. The room was on a high floor but we were viewing other high-rise buildings in Singapore. The location was very good in the sense that we could easily get to nearby attractions and eateries. I liked the touch of allowing us to adopt plants for the few days stay and the chance to borrow toys from the concierge. The room was very spacious. It was a true luxury. My family had a blast.

The view could have been better. The price was rather steep but it was competitive with other hotels that we shopped in the same class.

Super nice stay here. Layout is excellent and spacious. Anthony was superb.

Very well thought out and comfortable.

Lighting could be better. Very hard to see in the bathrooms. Could use paper towels in kitchen.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city. Huge suite with everything you would need for a stay. Located only 5 minutes from the MRT which connects you to the whole city

The robot at reception! Personally I prefer to talk to a person especially after a long flight when you are tired. At check-out it didnt work

Memorable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dao by Dorsett. The ambience, the service and the staff were all exemplary - special mention to Anthony, Syarif and Chris who made our stay so lovely. The room was spacious and clean, and contained everything we needed during our stay. The breakfast buffet was versatile and ever-changing, which we really enjoyed each morning before starting our day. If we’re ever in Singapore again, we know exactly where we’re staying!

Great place to recover from a long flight

We were in Singapore for 2 days, on the way to Bali. This hotel was amazing! Extremely comfortable, clean and modern. The value for money is great. Many amenities in the room and great breakfast. We used the gym and pool and both were great! Definitely recommend.

Wonderful

Spacious and fully equipped room, clean and comfortable. Check-in was smooth. The pool and gym were nice. Location was great, easy access to MRT / taxi / Grab, also walking distance to many places.

The shower area is a bit too dark. It would be nice if the socket comes with USB ports.

Highly recommend the stay, it’s a beautiful hotel with great customer service and excellent facilities.

- staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. in particular the staff member who operated the shuttle bus service was fantastic and helpful. -gym and pool were fantastic, clean, and beautifully presented. - room was very clean, well presented and super comfortable.

-Of the four hotels we stayed at on our trip the location of this hotel was our least favourite. - The entrance to the hotel was not obvious. At the time we checked in there was no one at ground level concierge and we found out the hard way the reception floor was on the seventh floor of the building.

Great breakfast, excellent location, perfect for a good rest.

Well located close to a nearby metro station and in walking distance from Marina Bay & the gardens. We arrived early and the staff were very welcoming and let us sit by the pool whilst awaiting our room to be ready. The room was fantastic - bed very comfy, black out blinds, quiet rooms, good shower. We were particularly impressed to have a washing machine and washing powder which was useful too. Breakfast had lots of options and was delicious - one of the best buffets we’ve come across!

We did initially have some issues with our booking as we booked the wrong dates and shortly after booking asked to change them one day forward; at first the hotel did ask to charge 50% more for the change however after contacting the manager the issue was quickly resolved without further fee which we appreciate.

Fab hotel and excellent location.

Beautiful hotel. We were given an upgrade and the room was perfect. Very helpful having kitchen and washing machine in room. Excellent location and quick to get to Marina Bay Area. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived very early from airport and there is a room to shower and change. we stored our luggage an chilled by the pool till our room was ready. Very large pool. Would definitely stay again here.
